Currently, Richard serves instrategic advisory rolesfor the tech startup STASHRUN, a gen-Z targeted microdonation platform connecting consumers, causes and brands and The National Marine Sanctuaries, part of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.Richard Loomis most recently served as Chief Marketing Officer of The Nature Conservancy (TNC), one of the world’s largest and most influential environmental conservation nonprofit organizations. As CMO, Loomis led TNC’s global brand, marketing,and externalcommunications teams, as well teams dedicated to digital strategy, social media, marketing technology and analytics. His role also included oversight of TNC’s creative content, corporate partnerships, publishing,and responsibility of its revenue-generating Membership program.Prior, Loomis led a successful executive marketing career in media and entertainment, serving as Chief Marketing Officer,Disney Channels Worldwide;SVP Marketing & Brand Strategy,Comedy Central,and various earlier marketing roles with Nickelodeon/MTV Networks. Richard started his career working on global brands M&M Mars, Bacardi,and Tiffany & Company in account managements roles at Backer Spielvogel Bates Worldwide, McCaffrey & McCallAdvertising in New York and Grant JacobyAdvertising in Chicago.Richard is a native of Ontario, New York(outside of Rochester)andearned a B.A. in International Relations from The College of Wooster in Ohio.
